Samsung Galaxy S III officially unveiled: Quad-core Exynos processor, gesture control on 4.8-inch HD Super AMOLED display (Video)

Samsung Galaxy S III officially unveiled
Finally its here! Samsung officially unveiled it’s latest flagship android smartphone Galaxy S III at  Mobile Unpacked event here in london today. The next Android superphone is only 8.6mm in thickness borrowing rounded corner feeling from it’s older brother Gaalxy Nexus and weighing in at 133g. Under the hood a 1.4GHz Exynos 4 Quad processor to power the device while 1GB of RAM will finish job smoothly. The interesting part is the display as Galaxy S III got a huge 4.8-inch HD Super AMOLED screen capable of producing 1280 x 720 pixel count. An 8 megapixel camera on the back (not as high as we expected) and and a 1.9-megapixel camera on the front side for video chat.

Galaxy S II will be available in two color: Pebble Blue and White. The handset launching with HSPA+, but there’s an LTE version is on its way. On the software side, Galaxy S III features Ice Cream Sandwich OS overlaying with Samsung’s TouchWiz UI and new gesture functions has been introduced.
